Santa Monica Commercial Construction Management Projects

Commercial Residences
As an objective, experienced commercial Owner’s Representative in Santa Monica, Stonemark has earned the respect of clients as well as top architects, engineers and builders throughout California by ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects over the last 20 years. Our Santa Monica portfolio includes an $18 million commercial retrofit for a UCLA Medical Center building, a commercial tenant improvement project to convert a 20,000 SF hangar at the Santa Monica Airport into a production studio and an 88-unit luxury mid-rise directly across from Ocean Park. Our thorough control systems ensure confidence in the building process, allowing clients to focus on their own core business while their projects are underway.Depending on the location of your project, the City of Santa Monica’s permitting process can require approvals from the Architectural Review Board, the Landmarks Commission and the City Planning Commission. The City also recently adopted an interim ordinance that temporarily reduces the size of new construction in R1 residentially zoned districts. This interim ordinance will stay in effect until a comprehensive review process with the public identifies the appropriate size and scale of new construction in neighborhoods.Stonemark’s commercial construction management in Santa Monica educates and leads owners through the challenges of design and construction while protecting their best interests first and foremost. We believe in controlling the cost, schedule and quality of fine architecture without sacrifice to the original vision of each project. Our communications and management expertise result in a positive construction experience and substantial client savings.
Our Work

I’ve worked with Stonemark on numerous projects. Their skillful management of the budget, schedule and contract negotiations frees me from those headaches. It is a relief to rely on them as a second set of eyes in comparing drawings between disciplines. With Stonemark on the team, I can focus on what I do best – design.
