Landscape Trees Are Lifted Into Place
It’s been an exciting few days at the building site! Beautiful mature Manzanillo Olive trees and Cathedral Oak trees were delivered and installed throughout the property. Just getting the trees delivered required two flatbed semi-trucks for the olive trees, and four separate trucks for the eleven oak trees. Once the planting locations were dug and prepared, the trees were lifted into place by a crane. Incredible delicacy and accuracy was needed to lift the trees safely and place them so close to the house. Each olive tree weighed approximately 12,000 pounds, measured 14 feet tall, and was about 60 years old. Four olive trees were installed in one day, while another 11 were installed over a two day period.
